This year the 4th annual Chestnut Hill Book Festival SINGER/SONGWRITER SLAM will take place on Sunday Septmeber 30th at 2:00 at Buckley Park. I will once again host this wonderful, absolutely free, event. Ten great singer/songwriters will compete for songwriter of the year. Join us for all the music.

is a modern day fable. Originally written as an educational tool for
teachers and parents to gently open a dialogue with children regarding
the dangers of addiction, it has become a favorite story for audiences
of all ages. Every kid should see this video and learn the poem.
Ted Fink taught for 10 years in the Philadelphia school system and has a
master degree in Educational Administration. He has told Lost in the
Ooze to kids in both elementary and junior high schools and has
witnessed first hand how this story initiates conversation about the
perils of drug use. Every teacher should have this substance abuse prevention tool at their
disposal.
